More than 80% of the power of the car battery, according to the control strategy of the on-board controller and battery management system (BMS), the state of charge (SOC) of the power battery on the car will drop to about 25% at most. It takes about 30 minutes to complete the charging of the whole car with a 1C rate current. It can be seen from the analysis that for the electric passenger car mentioned in the article if the whole car is charged with a reasonable DC fast charger, the charging power of the DC charger design is around 20 kW.
